Over the past two years a number of webinars have been held for the consumption and production community, focusing on topics ranging from systems mapping, sustainable production and consumption practices and approaches, to envisioning possible futures where sustainable production and consumption are the norm. In October, 2013, the community gathered at Wingspread, the Johnson Family Foundation campus at Racine, Wisconsin, to experiment with a systems approach, to see how our diverse work is interconnected, and to foster collaborative networking opportunities. The community explored whether a systems mapping approach can lead to the identification of high-impact leverage areas that can scale up systemic change in sustainable production and consumption.
